ASSURE MODEL REFLECTION

      In education, it is important to introduce the learners to different types of learning style. Through that they can explore new methods and use the one that helps them the most. By implementing this strategy, this will enable the students to learn at their own pace and find their comfort style of learning. ASSURE model is a six step instructional system design, intended to help teachers utilize technology and media in the classroom. ASSURE is a way to ensure that the learning environment is appropriate for students. As a 21st century educators, ASSURE is very useful in making lesson plan to improve teacher and gained attention from the students while using technology. ASSURE is based on Robert Gagne's events of instructions. The model is constructivism-based, learners must be actively partipating in their own learning, interacting with their environment and peers.
          As a future educator, it is very important to plan our lessons in our classroom. By incorporating technology into our lessons we make them more interactive teaching. I have been learned that the ASSURE model provides the perfect opportunity to meet the various needs. ASSURE model has six steps which are represented by the acronym assure. As a teachers we need to learn how to use these technological devices as teaching tools and teach students how to use them as learning tools. Understanding ASSURE model made me realize how important it is in planning effective, media-rich lessons. I learned that ASSURE introduce different learning styles of all students. Starts with analyze learner character,state objectives,select modify or design, utilize materials, require learner response,and evaluation.
         Indeed, integrating technology into the curriculum is the best way to make a positive difference in education. There are many specific strategies that can be used to incorporate technology into our lesson. The ASSURE model can be used as a guide to integrate technology into our future lessons.
